Enter for a Year 9/S2 Festivals

Entries for our brand new Festival programme is now open! Explore the Festival map to see the dates and locations for the programme and submit your entry using the entry form below. Please keep your eyes peeled for two additional Festival dates that shall soon become available in to be confirmed venues in the North East and the West Midlands.

Places are no longer offered on a first come, first served basis but do submit your entry before the closing date for priority entry on the 31st of January for the best chance of attending your Festival of choice. Please note students do not need to have attended a Festival of Chemistry before to attend a Year 9/S2 Festival, however if a student has attended a Festival before they are more than welcome to attend a Year 9/S2 Festival.

Who can participate?
A school may enter four students from:

  • Year 9 in England and Wales
  • Year S2 in Scotland

Terms and Conditions of Entry:

Entry is £30 (€35 approx) per school (non-refundable) and is restricted to four students from each school.

The individual age range per Festival is stated on the Festivals and needs to be abided by.

Schools who cancel within fourteen days of the Festival, or who fail to show up on the day, will be charged a cancellation fee of £30 (€35) [in addition to the entry fee of £30 (€35)]. If you need to cancel your entry for any reason it is essential that you contact the Programme Co-ordinator at the Salters' Institute and not the University Host. Failure to do so will incur the cancellation fee."
